It's only gonna get worse. Just so you know.I hate it, they are moving me to a Tuesday- Saturday schedule and I'm being a big baby about it.

Big 10! Who's not watching that on a Saturday afternoon?...oh yea, half the center. You know what's great about having off Saturdays ...College Football !
Wait, so the computer takes 168 stops/175 miles and says that it is a 9.7 day? That would only be possible if the package car could fly. Is there a reason the software doesn't work like it does Monday through Friday?
13hrs worked on a "9.7" dispatch on our 1st Saturday ground operation. 168 stops/175 miles. I hope they get the dispatch straightened out.

We've been having ORS rotate dispatching Mondays and our dispatcher works T-S.For you guys doing Saturdays are the same people dispatching and same management working 6 days a week? Or are they rotating?

I love the Monday's where it is my turn. Out by noon or 1PM, go home and take a nap on the couch, and chill out the rest of the day.WDFD.
Our PDS has a little twerpy assistant that comes in and practices effing things up on Saturdays so the real maroon can stay M-friend.

My center manager wouldn't let me get promoted until I knew it, and it really should be that wayOur ORS has no idea how to even use DPS or DMS and no interest in learning how to use either one... I asked today how our center plans to operate once we go to Saturdays and was given the answer well can't you do Monday-Saturday Dispatching .. I said sure being as I always work 40+ hours every week anyway and live straight across from the center...

I was a PT PDS for a few months. I couldn't believe they had a FTer when I got to a big buildingI had one of those Twerpy Assistants once poor guy never came back to work one day after I tried to teach him DMS and DPS and they have never hired another one that was 3 years ago now I just do everything ...

I love it. I listen to some podcasts and nobody bugs me. Perfect for an introvertI agree 100% every ORS should know how to use the system just for the fact if something should happen to the Dispatch Sup. ...They could take over for the day

Learning dispatch made me a better sup. I understand the whole area a lot better and know who has what.I started loading then moved to surepost and D.A learned as much area knowledge as I could then crossed over and became a Dispatch Sup. after the person before me just quit one day and been here ever since...we don't have a FT Dispatch it's just me as PT Dispatch and that's how they will keep it they said no way will we ever have a FT position in our center
