How are seniority grievances resolved that don't involve junior people getting more time? Other seniority violations

Suppose you are a sorter and you are told to go load trailers at a PD. You have more seniority than a lot of these other sorters but they want you. You file a grievance on seniority violation. How are these type of grievances resolved?

IF you had a diplomatic attitude and steward, these issues would not need a grievance.

Sounds like they're taking you off an easier job and putting you on a harder job. Unless your in a bid job you pretty much do what they say. Then you talk to your steward and see if he can assist you. You might have a gripe but maybe not a grievance. If your center honors preferred work by seniority, it usually will get back to normal pretty soon.

Aren't they supposed to go in seniority order when they do something like this?

Both jobs are quite similar if you work according to similar methods. It also depends upon the microscale nuances such as unloader speed, or what particular PD you are loading and the loads you are in...etc. blah blah
