When UPS first allowed drivers to wear shorts, we had to buy our own. I remember some drivers cutting off their long pants and then having to order new ones in the fall. That’s when the company decided it would be easier to just supply the shorts I guess. They use to be pretty strict about the socks in our center.

I bought about 60$ worth of socks about 3years ago. Been rotating and using them ever since. I like it. Because it adds to the prestige of the job if there is any left in this job. And plus once in awhile it's nice to hear customers say " wow and u guys have UPS socks too".
