No eclipse here--cloudy and raining.

At exactly 1:07 (it was predicted our largest coverage % would be at 1:08) the sky cleared up and we got to watch the eclipse (about 80% here). It is really a neat thing to see. At 1:25 it clouded back up and rained again. Just goes to show you someone likes us up here in the north country. Someone had even given the wife a pair of regulation eclipse watching glasses earlier.

I went to Ralphs when it was happening here and there was a bunch of gawkers in the parking lot.....just shook my head and got my lettuce. It was basically a non-event here. It was no different than the everyday marine layer!
