When someone gives me a package, does adding splcnts, add extra time throughout your planned day?

Probably not as long as it takes to put it in.

Do not worry about time. Do the job to the best of your ability by their methods and collect your paycheck.

It use to since it counted as a pickup. Who knows anymore. I only scan packages of customers I like so they have a record of us taking their stuff for when we lose it.

Some of the veteran drivers over here told me they took away the time credits for SpecialCounts.

Drivers would scan every pickup package and it would make it too easy for them to bonus.

I prefer cynical replies as I have evolved beyond sarcasm to an actual Cynic Level 2.

No reason to be so hurt just because you got kicked out of Cynic School as a Cynic Level 0.
