Off the top of me head: the Troubles in Northern Ireland, the Crusades,Spanish Inquisition, Burning of "heretics" .and pretty much the entire founding of the USA was based on exterminating the Heathen Native Americans in the name of Christianity. Lets not forget the French Wars of Religion,the Thirty Years War,Englands Civil war, Greek War of Independence,Yugoslavic Wars of the early 1990's.

The troubles in Northern Ireland wouldn't be about competing Gods because they believed in the same God.
The Crusades were a reaction to Muslims over running the Christian Holy Land. As a matter of fact most of the religious wars were fought to drive out the Muslims from Europe which the Muslims kept trying to conquer.
It's telling that you take a very Eurocentric view of the world. Why not look at the millions slaughtered by the Mongols? The Huns? Constant warring between Indian tribes? The Aztec, Mayan, and Inca empires? How about the wars within China? India? Japan attacking everyone?
And you know what? Christians aren't commanded to fight in God's name. We're to live in peace. It's atheists constantly attacking us these days. Or Muslims.
