LED lightbulbs (they are actually called lamps ) are getting cheaper. The efficacy or lumens per watt is better than any light source. The average life is rated 10 to 50,000 hours . Get rid of the CFL they need to warm up as LED's are instant on at full illumination. Also you can buy the lamps in 27K which is a warmer light simulating incandescent to 40 or 50K which is a much cooler whiter light. Changing over to LED can say you a lot of energy cost on your electric bill .A 10W LED lamp has the same lumens as a 60W incandescent with over 10 times the average life . When purchasing you should try to buy name brands like GE, Sylvania, Philips, Cree, Fite, etc .The off or Chinese brands are no good. I am ranting sorry.......
