Wellllll actually the tax inflows exceed the federal spending. For the bulk of this administrations term the deficit has been reduced. That doesn't mean spending is down just that having added 10ish million jobs in the last 18 months has helped the tax revenues.

Spending absolutely is down compared to trillions being spent on covid hoax.

I mean, they created the mess we're in. And raising rates rates is the only real tool they have to fight inflation (though it would be nice if they stopped printing money too).
