I believe low wages do equate to the low gene pool theory. Take a look at the goofs delivering the Amazon stuff "Laser Ship." Or, just walk into your local WalMart store, and have a look at the Motley bunch working there. There is a huge difference in the type of employees WalMart employs, and your local Target store. It's to bad that corporations do not value their employees anymore. Ever since Republicans have been weakening the unions, wages have been falling in this country, and corporate salaries have been soaring.
