The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming!

Centralization of economic power and centralization of political power are the exact same thing.

As soon as political power is centralized, that's where all money will flow. And as soon as economic power is centralized, political power will be easily bought.

The only solution is widely distributed private ownership of the means of production and political federalism. It's amazing that's exactly what the Founders told us to do.
yea thats why capitalist democracy doesnt work bc too much money in too few hands

US only joined ww1 bc they invented system of propaganda to convince workers to fight because wall st thought they were going to lose their investments to the europeans

In World War 1 leading leftists rejected both sides. Eugene Victor Debs (US) and Vladimir Lenin (Russia) urged their respective working classes not to support or fight and die in what they called a capitalist war.

Yah, and Lenin saw his Marxist dreams come to fruition. Most people in the Soviet Union led miserable lives. Except for the elites of course.

Fascist Portugal, Spain, and Italy enjoyed extremely high middle class standards. Franco’s Spain was doing extremely well notably, and this was all thanks to greater worker control in their workplace.

Majority of liberals actually don’t even care. It just a way to appear woke on social media. Why can’t take a lot them serious.

They’re not the problem, just a symptom. Rootless cosmopolitan elites want to erase all forms of traditional society and its understandings.

maybe the nazis america is supporting in ukraine will attack america down the road like what happened with the taliban:

Chris Hedges: Well, they clearly want to turn the Ukraine into another Chechnya. That's why
they've put these staggering sums of money into providing weapons. Even Germany has lifted its
ban on exporting weapons and talked about almost tripling its own defense budget, and then
spending 2% of GDP every year, which would make Germany the third largest military in the
world after the United States and China. So they are going back to that old Cold War playbook,
proxy wars. It's what Brzeziński did in Afghanistan, lured the Russians into Kabul after
weakening the government and arming what would become the Taliban. And in their parlance,
it's about making Russia bleed. But of course the people who truly bleed are the Ukrainians. So
that's the policy. It's very cynical. As long as the amount of weapons that have been provided to
Ukraine, as long as this is sustained... The Czechs are now sending tanks; the idea is to
perpetuate the conflict.

Ralph Nader: And this could be a gridlock for months, if not years. Is that what you are
saying?

Chris Hedges: Yeah. They would like it to continue for a very long time to slowly degrade
Russia's military capability. I think they're delighted with what's happening. But then, you have
these figures, Robert Kagan and others, who have just . . . I had to deal with Kagan. He worked
for Elliott Abrams in Central America as propagandist for the contras and these murderous
regimes in El Salvador and Guatemala. There isn’t a war they haven't embraced. They were, of
course, cheerleaders for the expansion of NATO. They sold us the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He has an article in the current issue of Foreign Affairs, which boils down to "We should go to
war with Russia, and don't worry, Putin won't use the bomb."

I think azov will try to take out zelensky themselves soon. They already threatened. He’s only useful to them as long as Russia isn’t taking Kyiv. It’s only a matter of time before the east is taken fully. I wonder what the reaction will be.

First off these guys aren't military experts. If we weren't sending in weapons the Russians would still be slaughtering them. If they think it's all about depleting Russian capability then they're assuming the Russians will keep fighting forever. The Russians can quit and leave anytime they like. Their leadership could overthrow Putin. A lot of different things could happen. But to say it's somehow all America's fault is ridiculous.

russia unlikely to have criminally invaded ukraine were it not for US led NATO expansion. so your first point is wrong.

nader ran for president so hes qualified to speak, chris hedges war correspondent. whats a military expert? i can post wilkerson and he will say the same thing. alot of military experts will just lie about it or are clueless anyways.

Joe Biden ran for president too so that doesn't make Nader an expert.
