The goal of having a bigger military budget isn't to ensure your country can probably survive an invasion. It's to prevent the invasion from happening in the first place or to end it quickly with minimal loss of life to your own citizens if an invasion does occur.

Doesn't matter that Putin and his military are just a bunch of alcoholic backwater baboons. They're still dangerous in that they can still kill a lot of people.

If it were Ukrainians slaughtering Russian civilians I'd be just as angry. And I never hear you talk about China's treatment of Uighurs, Christians, and other minorities. China executes prisoners and harvests their organs for sale. Not a peep out of you. And Russia is destroying itself. We don't need to do anything there. Just keep NATO up and running.
