Thought it could not get worse..WRONG!

do you think that 100% compliance with ORION and the millions and millions of $$$$$ in projected fuel cost savings that the developers of ORION are hanging their hats on during phase 2, with nationwide mandated ORION compliance, has now taken priority over making the NDA commit times on our premium air packages??? the millions corporate has projected this company will save by forcing ORION far outweighs the losses we will incur due to late airs??? think about it. the issue here with the late airs is simply a gross compromise of integrity by the corporate gurus who have now prioritized a new form of technology (ORION) to save the day. and late air priority has now become number 2 priority as the reality of ORION compliance has taken over as priority 1 or as we old timers have referred to as the flavor of the week. however this ORION flavor of the week has now become FLAVOR OF THE YEAR or until they (corporate) get it right! they (Abney) can arbitrarily instruct every operation during peak season to disregard the commit times on our air products just so we don't get backed up before Christmas day so to them this is no big deal. until this fiasco is corrected don't you think that the customers, who are paying the premium rates on the air pkgs they are shipping and then NOT getting the promised service should be receiving their full reimbursement for the missed commit times? not so with UPS. these corporate brainiacs are counting on the fact that the customers shipping the airs won't raise the reimbursement flag and in most cases are just happy to get their pkgs any time during the day in most cases. it has now become a game for UPS corporate and their integrity has now been compromised all because of modern technology, ORION. Sad days for UPS folks. its a whole new game at UPS now and we drivers will be caught in the middle as we are right now with ORION while the customers get screwed. in time we will provide every driver with the answer to combating this new flavor of the year or century. until then make sure we/you do everything by the book, methods, safety, habits, etc. by their book, and ALWAYS/ALWAYS work as directed because a new book is coming and it WILL change UPS forever if we all get aboard.
