The New York Times and others, and major Dems like Pelosi all said the virus was nothing to worry about. Said go about your business, go to large gatherings, use public transportation, etc. And you know why? Because Trump and administration were saying it was something to worry about. And anything he says/said must be disagreed with. And now you have selective memory.

Wow! Might I suggest you apply to be the White House Press Secretary. "Something to worry about.". Dear God man, tRump has never once said that about Covid19!
I love how the NYT reports what is said by tRump then you claim it's their words! That's special in it's sellf!
And for the record Trump and conservative talking heads WERE saying early on it wasn't a big deal too. Was very frustrating to hear some say it wasn't as bad as the flu. That includes some liberals on this forum saying it wasn't a big deal, the flu is worse, wash your hands. But Trump did issue a travel ban of Chinese citizens. Why did the virus spread from China quickly overseas? Because early on the Chinese were downplaying the seriousness of it and allowing their citizens from Wuhan to travel overseas. Not in the rest of China but overseas. And behind the scenes they were scrambling to contain it at home. And while telling us there was no human to human transmission they were ordering every facemask and other medical supplies from every outlet overseas they could find. Meanwhile very fine folks like you go on and on about how the virus is all Trump's fault.

We've been through this before. It was not the NY Times, it was a travel writer's opinion piece.
Published in the NY Times with editorial approval. Did that writer write words for Pelosi, de Blasio, et al?

Three months ago we were going to hockey games and restaurants. Nobody, left or right knew what was coming except the Commie Chinese Government. 
It was an independent writing contractor whose views do not necessarily represent those of the New York Times and its actual staff, damnit! Snuck it right in there!
The actual opinion of the leftists was that there should be a travel ban and folks shouldn’t travel to China! In fact, they agreed with Trump’s travel ban at the end of January!

Did any of the Democrats on the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence sound the alarm on the virus? Did they call for Trump to do something and he wouldn’t? Or were they busy calling Trump’s travel restrictions useless and racist while Burr was selling off stocks? As fellow Committee members, were they not receiving the same information he was?

She’s a Republican and not on that Committee. And I assume not privy to the same level of information its members get.
