I agree.

Look at it like this. Its like being a car salesmen, I didn't the build car its just my job to sell it to you.

Sometimes you believe in the product, sometimes you don't.

Stellar post, bruh.

You toe that company line day in and day out.

Then, admit it's all bull:censored2:.

Does wonders for your credibility.

It was actually a pretty good and honest analogy.

...If you think we work at a used-car place.

In Dragon's analogy, we've already bought the car, so to speak.

The choice he alludes to doesn't exist: whether or not we 'believe' in the 'product', we're bound to the terms of the agreement.

Poor Dragon...he works as directed, just like we do...

You missed the analogy. He's the car salesman. You're the customer.

I'll let Dragon off the hook. A TIYS Specialist is a Union Steward who knows the contract and enforces it.

TIYS....Thorn In Your Side.

Well MUG maybe you have a problem working with your manager, you vs them, type of working relationship.

The local here is pretty well run, most of the shop stewards are pretty reasonable.

Got anything else?

If its all B/S and you are so deeply offended because of your high moral standards, why do you continue to work here besides the money and benefits?

Before you type madly away, remember that's the same reasons I am here just in a different position.

My credibility stands firm.

You claim the moral high ground each time you rush in to defend the company's honor against us "evil hourlies".

Then admit, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Yeah, Sober it sucks but, I'm just trying to make a living, like you."

So no, your credibility, here at least, does not stand firm.

FWIW, I'd love to work for you. I'd enjoy our daily banter. I think you too, might find that, not all of us are as bad as you might believe.
