Serious modern engine work will make 12 point sockets quite welcome in any tool collection.
That's the difference in American made tools and over seas stuff I prefer to buy american. They are pricey. Better be worth it.
In a socket I really don't see the point. All you're doing is increasing your chances of rounding the nut or bolt head. Now wrenches are a whole nother story.Serious modern engine work will make 12 point sockets quite welcome in any tool collection.

You can get whole sets there for under $15.
If only your socks came with lifetime warranties....lolI was comparing the prices to Craftsmen. For an 8 pce hex socket set Craftsmen is $31.99. For the same 8 pcs set from the link you listed is $80.00! Both offer lifetime warranty.
Does Craftsman sell snap on appendage extensions??Some of us buy Snap on tools, others buy Strap on!![]()
Yep. Like I said for me personally it comes down to where its made. I'm paid well so I prefer to support American jobs. Yep. To get any quality you have to buy their professional line of tools which then puts you close to the tool trucks in price and above industrial lines in price. Like Armstrong, William, wright, proto,SK. Those are the brands I prefer.Plus they are garbage tools now! They didn't used to be!
I'm on another forum about tools and such and the horror stories about sears are alarming to say the least.I had an old Craftsman hammer. The wooden handle broke,so I took it back. The salesman said "we dont cover the handle" I went home and broke one of the claws off. then I went back to the store and said"give me my new hammer!" He did....you should have seen the look on his face!
No reason to do that anymore. The new tool is probablyWho hasn't done the garage sale/Craftsman tool purchase/swap for a new tool routine.
