As long as the work force costs less on a Saturday and way too many RPCD’s are willing to go home on Mondays then it will never happen.
But when you were forcing rpcd drivers in and paying them time and a half at top rate...

They only do that here during peak. We have a full roster of 22.4’s and PT cover drivers. Get the occasional RPCD that will voluntarily come in but not an issue here.
But yet they will pay me to be unproductive on a Monday

And yet they were begging people to volunteer Saturday? I don’t understand the need to push so much volume on Saturday?
If they use the 22.4 drivers the way they were supposed to we would not have this problem.
Let them come in an hour or two before their shift and load their own package cars instead of forcing preloaders to work 6 days a week when you're lucky if they show up three days a week.
