my guy had Putin afraid to tread because he was not sure how Trump would respond and maybe even wondered if Trump was nuts. Those 50 cruise missles at the Russian backed Syrians while dining with the Chinese Premier let everyone know who the big dog was.
Biden told Putin ahead of time that there would be no US involvment in Ukraine and continues to make that assurance to him.
