Yes, it was a rather informative issue. They took pictures of the employees from different hubs around the nation that were now working Saturdays.

And contrary to what you might think, the article informed me that all employees involved with now working Saturdays were enthused by this prospect now clothed in reality.

I believe the sole purpose of UPS wanting us to download the app is when the union decides later on that they want to release contract proposals to us: UPS will want to send their spin and version out to all the employees. It will be a classic divide and conquer. They are trying something different to get the word out that they didn't do before.
