There would need to be a substantial financial incentive beyond the paycheck for me to even consider doing that.

Our pension fund increases our payments by $100/month for every year that we stay past our normal retirement age. Not worth it-----not even close. $500/month per year to be capped at an additional $2K after 4 years? That would have done it for me.
