New package handlers and drivers get :censored2:ed pretty hard. So bring some lube. Imagine working 830am to 930pm on Saturdays. Every single Saturday. That's the reality for a lot of new drivers now. It's a good gig but I would be cautious to quit a stable job to come here.

And we have guys that try to qualify during summer. Management DQs them for whatever reason. Then has them drive seasonal during peak. And they repeat the same :censored2: the following year. So the 4 year progression is a lot longer for many people.

The direction the USPS is going is obviously not good. I have never worked for a company that could care less about their employees. Being in the industry a few years now, UPS looks to me like the much better choice.
ups could care less about their employees, especially their safety.

Ups pays a lot more and the benefits at UPS are far better. Only thing better at USPS is sick time and if you use it you better like harassment.
