I feel you were a bit out of line there, and the sup has the right to tell you to calm down and not call people names. You could have simply explained your side of the story, calmly and clearly, just like you were talking to a priest or a teacher.

People do that all the time time at UPS. Sometimes you have to deal with it, if they are bothering you go to the union.
