I'll take any IPA you recommend that I can't get out here. Let me know what you want and I'll be happy to ship it out. Pliny the elder is not cheap though and most places will not let you buy more then a 6 pack at a time. Bought the guy 4 and sent him a bunch of stuff from breweries around here. I think we have like 145 breweries in San Diego now.

Pliny is the elusive ghost on the east coast. Lucky for me, a little spot in Philly serves the Elder on draft. Always has it too.

It's a good beer and makes me laugh how many people ask me about it when I go back east. It's very good but there are better beers out there.

I agree. It’s reputation precedes it. It was so highly rated when the IPA explosion was just starting, and it’s so hard to find around here, it’s become a golden goose.

It's really good. It's a red IPA. So you are in Cleveland. Great Lakes is kick ass. I stock up on the Christmas Ale every year.
