What is the Union going to do when up to 30% are laid off in January?

center manager dressed up as santa at the PCM and had a big red bag he was picking names out of. Guys would go up get their envelope and just walk away. What we didn't know was every name he read off was an employee being laid off.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge

Deranged lunatic
Real peak started this monday. Even with helpers all day these guys are back to building with a minimum of 10 hours. Another worked 13 and gave away over 100 stops to another driver. Ho Ho Ho.

Sucks for the paycheck-to-paycheck drivers who will work preload for a few weeks but layoffs in this industry have always been temporary.

This is a no brainer. Teamsters got there pay increase and now UPS plays the not making enough money need to layoff employees game. I was once part of a different union in the grocery store business and we demanded a raise and we got it and the owner then slashed all the hours citing hardship. It happens a lot in business. This is just a game by UPS to get their money back after giving out the pay increases. Just a really scuzzy way to do business.
