As the pension cuts spread from Central states across America how long will it take before UPS employees smarten up and throw Hoffa out or throw in their hats and go with the smart choice run by two of their own?The APWA who seen the wrighting on the wall a long time ago. Will the Big Brown employees let Hoffa give in to all UPS demands or will the people stand side by side and demand for Hoffa to resign. From what Im reading so far Hoffa is not who I would want representing me.What was the real reason Hoffa started early contract negotiations?Thats easy so he could get the largest contributors of pension funds and union dues to vote for SLICK HOFFA.Well its time to take them blinders off and win the representation the people deserve.THE APWA all the way! From what I can see all the teamster supporters have just got a pail of water thrown in their faces.Wake up before it's to late.

I was leaning heavily toward the APWA until I noticed that they are trying to represent UPS Freight as well. I'd still rather have them than the IBT but now i'm not so hard core about it. We need our own union at UPS. I'm not so sure I'd want to represent UPS Freight/Overnite. Not after their sound defeat after their strike. Anyway...multi-employer unions clearly are a bad idea.

Come on, APWA? You think there are problems now try that road. Where is the money going to come from to start this fund? What happens to the old funds? What if you don't have enough time in to be vested in your current fund are you going to lose that time? Do you think the company is just going to up and give us a contract with those guys? APWA sounds to me like a porn where we are the ones grabbing our ankles and moaning.

Wow, you sound a bit angry. I hope you enjoy knowing that your posts are so poorly worded and supported that you will not be taken seriously. Just so you know. :tongue_sm
