There is no correct answer.

You need to have 40 credits, which is 10 years of working
You only do make 6560 per year to get a full years credit.

Of course the more you make the more you get to collect

Yea, they want you to die before you are eligible to collect. This is really their solution to lowering Unfunded Liabilities?

If your FRA is 67 the break-even point between 62 and 70 is around 80.

Bam. Yes sir. Put in ~30yrs push to 55 or more so you push to 401k 59yo. threshold. They know lifespans are shorter now.
