Corporate is taking notes on your posts as we speak. Ask @TearsInRain, he has the direct line to the Kremlin on his desk.
the first guy i went with we skipped lunch only cause we left the hub really late and had a :censored2:load of stops. Good thing i ate a big breakfast that morning.

The other drivers seem to take their lunch when they have like 2 neighborhoods left.
Take your lunch during the contractual period and don't work during it. If you REALLY want us to change the lunch time in the ORION solution it can be done. But in reality, it doesn't matter. But hey, if you want to do it then, that's your thing.[/

That's the problem sir....overload you to make u go faster and skip lunch. They make you think ur such a hero for doing it...pile on more, expect you to do it again and again and again. You think ups will take care of you. Then you make a stupid human mistake and they fire you. Jokes on you bud

I hope someday you get transferred to a real center...your small comfort zone is blatantly obvious. When you do I leave everything at a 7pm drop box. See ya about 9. If you want my ground let me know. That way you can worry about the other 130 drivers who need their air picked up. Lmao

I usually take a 30 minute lunch closer to the 5th hour and then my 15 min paid break towards the end of the day.

If I'm really light I'll take 45 minute lunch plus break later. I really don't know what I'd do with myself for a full hour and 15 minutes...

My dispatches have been reasonable but if they get stupid, I'd start taking a full hour plus break and asking who's coming to get my air

How many jobs would it be normal to take lunch at 5PM because otherwise you could not complete business deliveries before pick ups start. And why do drivers normally put up with it?

You're absolutely right. I'm an hours guy, so for me not getting help from other drivers means I get more hours. I like my OT. If I was 9.5 I'd probably take my break at 2 or so and message in if I couldn't get my business done. I certainly don't take a late break for UPS' benefit.

Per our contract lunch is between the 3rd and 6th hour! Per our B.A. if you don't take at least 30min of down time (wheels not moving/not working) than you have no right to greave. You aren't following the contract so why should they.

Don't do that. Never do that

Take lunch like normal. Send a message via the diad you will have business misses. It's your right as a human being to sit down and grab something to eat and cool off during the summer for an hour.

Been in a tiny extended center and now in a large building in New England. You know what the difference is? More people.

What does that mean exactly. I do take my lunch but its not in the way the orion solution says i should take it. Like for example the orion solution said i should take my lunch at 12:40 till like 2:00 but i did not. I worked through that period and did not take it until 4 o clock. Is that what upsers mean by working through your break or am i wrong? Please put me on game.
How does you management team let you break so late?

You folks skipping lunch, are you getting paid for the time, or is the company taking that time out of your paid day?

We are only docked for the actual lunch we take. Most people only take 30, some zero. All take the 15 min paid break.

Nothing is automatically deducted. If you take a 1 min lunch, 1 minute is unpaid. Contract states we are entitled to an hour between the 3rd and 5th hour.

We get a report generated if any activity takes place during lunch.

The union should demand that any work during breaks stop immediately.

Maybe the lawyers should get involved with a class action. Watch how fast the company shuts down the diad then. It would be so easy to see violations.

What drivers put up with that? Alert management of the problem, shut truck off for an hour, go back to work.
