But, it was already too late for their pension fund.

I agree there are hundreds of pension funds in trouble. Teamster and non teamster. Public and private sector. RB1 and his following want to blame H for the funds that are having issues. They are wrong. They have no clue about what is going on around them.

The $27 billion Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System and $51.7 billion Pennsylvania Pubic School Retirement System are more than $50 billion dollars in the red.

At a union meeting earlier this month. Hoping for a ups buyout now. Went from 5500 to 2200 as of now. Retirees also. We have 9500 working to pay out 14k retirees.

The 14k retirees had money put in on their behalf and they should be drawing on that money. The 9500 working should not be paying for the retirees. Their money should be going into the fund for their retirement, not the current retirees.

You can blame the economy, stock market, bad management of the funds, etc. but cannot blame it on more retirees than actives. That is not how a pension fund works.

With the deregulation of the trucking industry by the evil GOP a lot of trucking companies went out of business screwing the multi employer pension plans. You catching up?
