You do have to feel a bit sorry for Mick Mulvaney

You should educate yourself on the fact that Trump tried to liquidate this so called "charity" before the state attorney stepped in to block it....too late. He claims to have donated 102 million to the charity between 2009 and 2015. Much of that so called donations were in the form of easements on Trump owned property or free golf on one of his courses.
Donald Trump never did anything for anybody without a condition or an angle behind it that benefited him.

In March 2019 the New York State attorney general filed suit against the Trump's alleging a long standing illegal use of Trump Charitable Foundation funds which included money contributed by other people for purposes including payments to settle personal legal issues unrelated to the charity itself.
In the meantime all the public can do is to watch and see what happens.
While I agree with this post, it has nothing to do with my post to which you responded.

The facts are not talking points. It's all there in the law suit (check it out for yourself) and law suits whether civil or criminal are not filed unless the facts and the evidence supports them.

Really? All lawsuits are won? Why go to trial?
Let me try again with you. To be willing to accept the court costs and attorney fees that goes along with the possibility of losing a case you have to be confident in the strength of your evidence. Apparently the state of New York believes that the strength of both the facts and the evidence that supports them are sufficient to file suit.

And the politics overrides everything else!

And sometimes it's just about politics.

Sure, but the implication in your statement is it’s ONLY about politics.

Turns out, there’s an actual case, with documented wrongdoing, which will play in the courts.

If it was simply Politics, that’s not a great case in a legal setting...that’s not the case here.

Politics is mostly when cases don’t get brought.

TLDR: Politics alone isn’t enough to bring a case, that takes evidence of illegal action.

There's solid evidence Hillary committed multiple felonies. Where's the indictment? Politics.
