Thanks for pointing that out I read the whole conversation and never noticed it till now. Well I feel dumb today.the OP posted and never came back. That was in 2009.
Almost all the PT new hires (less then a year) are already looking for a better job and are gone just as soon as they find one. Kind of hard to threaten peoples job when it's PT at $10.00hr and no benefits and want you to work like a dog. They just say thank you for making up my mind about quitting.
If UPS try's to force PT to work OT ask them to make you FT. You owe them nothing as a PTer.
Have to go by seniority. Ask from the top and force from the bottom.Uh....
What "contractual" restriction, does the company have on OT for part-timers ??
