Nobody would get satisfying results with a hammer. A 50 cal machinegun would be best.

There was a scrapyard on my last route that got all our old ADA'd trucks. He'd crush them with a claw on a trackhoe, and then cut them up for scrap.

He told me lots of times to come over on a Saturday to crunch one up. I never did, but I wish I would have.

I drove a p600 ,, had a wooden bulkhead door with a padlock , wooden narrow shelves and round clutch & brake pedal !!
Life of luxury !!!

I also drove one of those, choked on the fumes all day. The good old days.
