If you are thinking about voting NO…

That’ll be a big fat NO from this full timer. Who cares what the publi sees? It’s not their paycheck. Raising kids these days, at least raising them correctly, is extremely expensive if you can even do it. This isn’t the trump days when gas was 1.80 gal. and electric was $.05 a kWh. Biden is choking us, the companies that wanted him in office need to pay for that.
You won't have to worry about either in a few years. They are both past the average life expectancy for a white male in the U.S.

One of the “rules” of the bailout was that no improvement, other than contractual, could be made to pension benefits for at least 10 years after receipt of the SFA funds.

Because anybody who retires in the West with the same amount of service and over age 57 will probably be looking at 7,000 to 8,000 a month at the end of this TA (2028)..
Yep, and they’re still far ahead of the central and good for them. I’m glad I wish it was us as well but it is what it is.

Once again Cental States got screwed on the pension. Biggest contributor, lowest payout. 400 bucks in Jan? 600 more IN FIVE YEARS???? Complete joke. But hey, we get a bag of ice and every driver gets a 1 gallon cooler. And let’s not forget that A/C that 99% of drivers will never see in their career. VOTE NO
Go get your booster. Your thread was dead wrong

You’re really out of your depth here and do not understand but that’s OK Wally😂
Maybe.

With this new contract, someone in the central can retire with $5300, but another with the same years of service can retire with less than that?

You’re slightly confused, remember, most of us are under the UPS plan now with some years in central states. I personally only have eight years in central states. The rest are in the UPS plan.

..and any credit years prior to 2008 under the Central States Pension Fund will be offsetting any benefits under the IBT/UPS Pension Plan at age 65. UPS will reduce their retirement benefits accordingly, the IBT/UPS Pension Plan was established in 2008..at the end of this Contract those under the Central will have 20 years vested, those old timers who have any vested full time years under Central States will slowly fade away or die.
