You can denigrate and demonize Glenn Beck all you want but somewhere around 500,000 people showed up at that rally. OH! Sharpton had 3000 show up at his rally! Lefties should be scared sick. The independents and conservatives are taking back the country. Our constitution is on the way to be rescued! The people who know GB, know what kind of person he really is. People who feel a need to make him look bad are the ones who have the real problem. I feel sorry for you and your kind.

I don't disagree with that the last part of your statement. However I do take umbrage with "I know I am right". This is exactly why we have a problem in Washington. Everyone thinks they are right and all they are doing is fighting. As I said in another post in another thread, the party in charge has to reach out to the minority party and make it work. When the electorate says that they want something one way and the party in charge tells them we know we are right and we are going to ram this down your throat then nothing gets done.
Put it in another context.... How do you feel when your boss tells you it is my way or the highway and threatens your job? Does that really make you want to work for him/her? Because you now feel belittled aren't you more likely to sabotage him/her if you get a chance?
How does that help you or the boss. Isn't UPS and the customer likely to be the one to lose? How about contract negotiations? If the company or union stalemates ... everyone loses. It is better to find common ground and hammer a solution out. It may not be totally acceptable but that is called "splitting the baby".
This is no different. We need to come together to find common ground that we can work with. If either side is inflexible to start with and can't agree what the common ground is nothing happens. One side continues to pull away and the other side rams through their agenda. Then the pendulum swings the other way and the other party takes control. Sad Sad Sad!
That I know I am right is not to say that I can't be convinced otherwise, but I'm not going to be "scared" into believing differently. In the last 15 years I've seen what the party in power calls "working to find common ground" and I'm not impressed. It is as though the lives of millions are simple pawns to those who move the levers of power.

When you look at the fact that people are talking about states’ rights again, they want to take away our vote in 34 states. Talking about voter ID. Talking about ending early registration, ending early voting. They want to honor Dr. King and revoke the Voting Rights Act at the same time.
The GOP thought they could get these laws up and running and screwing voters without alot of blow-back. They were wrong and the NAACP is making the world realize that what we would never accept as free and fair elections in other countries is openly advocated for by one of the major parties in this country. Nobody thinks the U.N. is going to do anything, but it's hard for the stench of GOP fraud to grow in full view of the watching world. Since we are leaders in the world, it is important that the rest of the world see us for our actions.

They started in San Francisco but regardless where they are, it's was US political leaders and societal experts who bounded this country to the United Nations. So why the aversion to an organization the great USA, land of the free, home of the brave, wave that flag, sing that anthem created in the first place?

I still find it extremely ironic and hypocritical that you needed ID badges to get into the Democratic convention and realistically ID for just about everything else in life but the liberal loons don't think it is necessary to have an ID to vote.... It stems from Chicago style politics. The mobsters and unions were in the pocket of the Democratic machine and had dead people voting all the time. This is how Kennedy won the Presidency and the reason he was assassinated- brother Bobby took on the mob - ARE U KIDDING ME? GOP fraud indeed!
See, what people don't realize is - How would these same liberal loons go and just bus anyone to the polls? The only way some of the liberal loons can be elected is if they bus unsuspecting people who could care less about the process of voting and then tell them who to vote for. They give them a free lunch and make them feel like they are best friends. All the loons care about is stealing their vote and bus them to the polls by the thousands!
God forbid you should have to have an ID to vote! This would not fit real well with the more simple bussing plan of herding people to the polls and giving them a free lunch.
