Got hired the same day as two other drivers (all 22.4 combination drivers), all have same seniority date. Who gets priority when a new route becomes available or when a RPCD spot opens up? Thanks so much
Who ever started first on that day was the way we did it here in New England regionHere, it is alphabetical by last name.
Wouldn't it follow then, that they would make seniority first? Unless they took dead days, or something.Who ever started first on that day was the way we did it here in New England region
Three people here started on the same day and the way their seniority is measured is by who punched in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.Got hired the same day as two other drivers (all 22.4 combination drivers), all have same seniority date. That's probably a better way of doing it, however, the way ours is, helped me jump over another person in seniority.here it’s whoever punched in first on the first day

Same here. Although quite a few years ago there were 6 people going into friend/T with the same date and they all drew numbers from a hat. Here it’s a coin flip.

That’s how it was done when I went from PT to FT. Promoted one per day based on company seniority until the list was done. They should have hired each of you on three different dates. But that would’ve made sense.
