The Trump Election and FedEx

My wife and a lot of our minority friends are scared to death...as they should be.
Bring up the race card. Always the first thing a maroon will do. White people didn't cry and get "scared to death" when Obama got elected. His 8 years have been a total disaster and now the people decided his legacy was too crappy to carry on with what's her name. Plus, you lied. You CANT have any friends. You hate everything and everyone too much for anyone to voluntarily to be around you socially.

White people had no reason to fear Obama because it wasn't open season on them like it's going to be on LGBT, Hispanics etc. now that the deplorables have won the day and are going to put those pesky coloreds in their places. He's going to build that great wall and deport all the desirables. You know, the ones that watch your kids. mow your lawn, and serve you at almost any local restaurant.

It's ironic, but Trump will kill the underground network of illegals that big GOP business uses to keep wages low and profits high.

In the case of this election, Hillary didn't actually win the popular vote - she won the least un-popular vote. We just witnessed something quite remarkable. After all - how often do we get to see two of the most despicable human beings on the planet run for the highest office in the land?

I've heard that Jerry Springer has already announced he's throwing his hat in the ring to challenge Donald in 2020.

Open season? How? You act like Trump is for legalizing hunting minorities. You stereotype people's political views by demographic, which I find quite racist and homophobic.

Please elaborate.
I saw a list of Obama's accomplishments the other day. One that stood out was that we're importing less Mideast oil. Takes some gall to claim that because the increase in domestic production was strictly on private land. Obama shut down new exploration and drilling on Federal lands as well as offshore not long into his first term.

Also his defenders like to say he had to spend so much because of the huge recession. And yet his spending is fraught with waste. Solyndra is a prime example. Half a billion spent on one company that shortly after went bankrupt and all that money gone. Which makes you wonder who's pockets got lined on that deal. And while most of America was suffering during the recession Washington was booming. He expanded gov't exponentially with many thousands more $150k annually jobs than previous administrations. And then there were the trips. Taking huge amounts of personnel overseas at huge costs. Michelle flying in a separate jet. Doing a flyover over NYC for a photo op with Air Force One without warning anyone. There were a lot of these things. Does seem to have settled down in the last year or so. But then Hillary was running so they needed to keep a low profile.

Could go into the various "gates", could go into how he was the most devisive president on race relations. Could go into how he did little to create jobs and I suspect there was some kind of "social justice" aspect to that. But he will most likely be remembered for doubling the national debt, and I think enough voters realized that Hillary would go even further with that, and it's unsustainable. Or he may be remembered for letting the Middle East fall apart, how he led from behind, and how difficult his relationship with Israel was.

I see that your memory is starting to go. Whatever his shortcomings many economists believe that if Barack Obama and Ben Bernanke did not undertake the aggressive measures they took today the unemployment would be 25%, the banks would be nationalized and your precious Fedex stock you keep bragging about would be worth , oh maybe 40 bucks a share . And by the way ,lawyers for your beloved president elect are asking that his fraud trial be postponed until after his inauguration.

Once again somebody whose memory is starting to go. What he did spend or may have spent pales miserably when compare to. TARP.. You know that little multi billion dollar investment bank bail out that wouldn't have happened if Glass Steagall had not been repealed. And yes both parties were in on that little scam and now today Trump wants to trash Dodd Frank the successor to Glass Steagall. Let's wait to see what happens if he does. Not likely to be very pretty.

I consider that a compliment. You hate anyone who is a hard working Christian that is happily married and somewhat successful that doesn't hate life and and their job. Happy people scare you because you have never experienced that feeling on a consistant basis in your miserable life. I wake up every day feeling happy and ready to experience whatever that day brings. You wake up every day with a hollow, empty feeling, just knowing you will be angry and bitter that day. Just like every other day in your pitiful life. Kinda sad.

You spread a lot of misery for a "happy" person. I don't think anyone here buys that you're happy. Happy people don't go out of their way to put people down.

Believe what you want. Who on here is always complaining about pay, benefits, life in general. Sure isn't me. Who on here is satisfied with their life and finds joy in most everything they do on a daily basis. Sounds like me. I know I shouldn't pick on the miserables like you and MFE, but you make it so easy because life for you is a sad experience and you just can't find much to be happy about. No matter what good might happen to you, finding the negative is all you can do.

It's all a big mess. But don't kid yourself if you believe Obama is one of the great Presidents. And don't forget that both Dodd and Frank were instrumental in the crisis, pushing banks to make loans to millions of unqualified borrowers. Why, it's almost as if they wanted the system to crash. Can't imagine why a bunch of Socialists would want that. What could it be, what could it be?

Someday Obama's college papers, the ones he's had sealed all this time, will go public. We'll see then how he truly feels about America and capitalism. You'd think you socialists would have learned from the last 100 years that it's not workable. And yet you keep trying.

Seemed to me that those groups were using some questionable ideas about being a non-profit.
Nope, a Democrat operative who headed the Cincinnati IRS office that handled these matters, and who was in touch numerous times with the White House, kept most Republican affiliated groups from getting tax exempt status while approving most Democrat ones. And pleaded the 5th before Congress.
