Moreluck, Who is your favorite foreign leader? Please don't let it be Putin. The days of Thatcher and Walesa are over and I am having trouble thinking of anyone who stands out these days as an admirable leader willing to fight the tough fight and stand up for freedom and liberty.

It's time for something different...than Gary Johnson.

So many inaccuracies-----where to begin:

1. Johnson was not asked to name a foreign city in a foreign country. He was asked to name his favorite foreign leader, either current or past, in any foreign country. He was unable to do so.

2. Trump never admitted to tax evasion. He did admit to using the tax laws to his advantage, which is the mark of a smart business person. Hell, if using the tax laws to your advantage makes you a tax evader, please throw me in jail as I do the same.

3. Hillary never broke any security clearance laws.

Hillary was never charged with breaking any security clearance laws. evidence indicates she easily could have been but Comey the FBI director decided he would not decide this presidential election by pursuing it. had he as much as turned the decision over to a grand jury Hillary would have been done.

A principled option for U.S. president: Endorsing Gary Johnson, Libertarianhttp://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...ent-endorsement-edit-1002-20160930-story.html

How has our country fallen so inescapably into political and policy gridlock? How did pandering to aggrieved niche groups and seducing blocs of angry voters replace working toward solutions as the coin of our governing class? How could the Democratic and Republican parties stagger so far from this nation's political mainstream?

And the most pressing question: What should tens of millions of voters who yearn for answers do with two major-party candidates they disdain? Polls show an unprecedented number of people saying they wish they had another choice.

We reject the cliche that a citizen who chooses a principled third-party candidate is squandering his or her vote.— Chicago Tribune Editorial Board

This year neither major party presents a good option. So the Chicago Tribune today endorses Libertarian Gary Johnson for president of the United States. Every American who casts a vote for him is standing for principles — and can be proud of that vote. Yes, proud of a candidate in 2016.

At best she was careless-----at worst she knowingly violated policy.

careless is against the law when it comes to national security.

she made a conscious decision to circumvent the security process. what has not been answered after all this time Is who was the person removing the information from a secure system, stripping the security heading and then transferring it to the unsecure Clinton server. that's where the real criminal activity took place.

the libertarian third party candidate will either be a fresh alternative to the status quo or not. simply denigrating the current system does not elevate Johnson to the status of political messiah. It makes a case for a third party alternative but not necessarily the one we are offered.

The 2 candidates of the 2 major political parties took care of denigrating their parties all by themselves, of course they had some help. o_O

Having other options gives the voters the power instead of the system... we can only hope.

Two successful governors are much better than the crapola we have running now.

So you're saying Trump is viable... I think not.
