    UPS and Teamsters Local 705 Reach Handshake Agreement

    UPS announced that the company and Teamsters negotiators have reached a tentative agreement on a new five-year contract.

    [FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]UPS and the Chicago-area Teamsters Local Union 705 reached a handshake agreement on a new five-year contract, which takes effect August 1, 2008 and runs through July 31, 2013. The two sides met throughout the night on Wednesday, July 30 and announced the agreement on the morning of July 31. [/FONT]
