What's the proper procedure when u can't find a package?

My way for missing packages, leave it in the board until i'm 100% positive it's not on the truck, usually at the end of the day i'll mark it not found. 70% of the time i end up finding it in some ridiculous place and leaving it in the board serves as a reminder to me to deliver it.

Misloads are sent in as i find them under comm, send misload text. Then i wait on instruction on what to do with them. Sometimes they get shuttled, sometimes i'm told to deliver, sometimes they're missed.

You could try to put any "not founds" that you end up finding in the 2000 section so that you won't forget to run them off.

I always bring them up front and put them by my stuff, i just hate surprises and would rather have a reminder. Got on the car once with a casual and he had a pile of about 10 packages he marked not found. That was a fun mess to try and clean up and get delivered.

I was older when I retired. The few times they found a package that I failed to deliver a simple "geez thanks I forgot all about it and keep on walking took care of it
