The little store I go to,won't sell you anything bad. When I talked to the owner ,he said. I would rather get $2 out of it before it goes bad.

There used to be a smaller grocery store around here that had would have really bad looking meat due to lack of refrigeration. The health department eventually shut it down.

Then the owner changed ownership to his wife, opened again and was open a few more months before it was closed for good.

As long as you cook it or freeze it right away you shouldn't have a problem.

That's what I do with it. I always take a picture first. Then I look at the picture,you can see it the real color much better that way.

Yeah but at least Walmart selling groceries is forcing Krogers to keep prices a little lower. Most other grocery stores are gone now.
