Will promotions return for 2010?

I was informed by H.R. manager directly that there are no technical promotions being handed out this year. The only way you're going to be able to change job titles is if you see a job posting, apply for it, and get it.

this is incorrect. OSS was not offered anything and there's no word that they are/will be............this month anyway.

Promotions??? Nothing happening there. Word has it that OSS in Mahwah all got pkgs on Friday - totally dismantled...........

i believe this information still to be incorrect. Operations Support Services (OSS) in ISNJ Mahwah were not offered any packages, none of the employees in that group have received any communication on what's been posted here. The only movement happening within Operations within the last couple of weeks has been the notice of the leftover techs from ICS to their new positions in and around the Shared Services portfolio, many of them going to Computer Operations.

i think you need to check your sources because i know all 12 of them personally being that i work in the same department
