If you look at the last five CEOs it’s 5-7 give or take. She could go to 2027 when all this recalibration blah blah is finished and then hand the keys over but I think I remember @catstalking saying 2026???

When I worked, they would rotate the center managers to different centers every 5 years (unless they were real screw-ups-----those would get sent to feeders). Every new manager would come in swinging- thinking they were going to set the world on fire. It would take us a couple of months to teach them reality.

It's such an odd managerial tactic to walk into a place that you don't know and start swinging your D.
I'd like to think I would take a different approach by getting a lay of the land, trying to understand personalities, identifying strengths and weaknesses. Observe...then you can make a positive difference.

That sure wasn't the way our new center manager's would act. I had more that one of them do a complete 180 and say---"just do it the way you always have" after trying to reinvent my delivery methods and seeing my over allowed skyrocket.

Not much has changed lol I actually get bored with center managers after they’ve been there a while and can’t wait for the new one so I can have more fun crushing their dreams.

What kind of dispatch you go out with if you are a two hour trip back to the hub? Half the day is spent driving both ways.

280-300 miles 12 zip codes and parts of 4 different counties

Hired in the heart of covid.
Soon to be 5 years.
Driver 27 out of 31.
Driver sort n load, sounds like we will be losing Amazon within a year...
Not a lot of room to bump, only have like 3 part timers.
I'm gonna stick it out until they tell me not to come in anymore. But making smart financial decisions (hence all the extra OT I can scrounge).

So, I was wondering with them doing all that layoff language and the job creation obligation. Since they don’t want to fulfill it will that mean we will be authorized to strike/slowdowns/etc since the company reneged on its contractual agreement?

We had 2 routes like that but they were only sent out with about 25 stops max. Most of those routes were on crappy dirt roads
