I have been asked by a few people recently about how to apply for a driving job and have been told by a few people that they saw we will be making 170k and i have to correct them. My cousin sent me a link about it and i highlighted the essential parts in the picture...

And he was like "oh.... i just saw it said you will be making $170k."

People don't read the whole thing and think about it. They see "making $170k" and thats it.

ABC and Fortune are reporting that we will be making 175k a year in benefits and wages upon ratification of this contract! Where are they coming up with this BS?
You keep coming in early doing safety committee stuff. Working Saturdays and working your vacations. Truck/baby mama/house notes are expensive.

In 5 years, $49 per times 40 is $1960. Times 52 is $101,920. That’s without overtime. One hour of OT per day, which is not outlandish, equals $19,110. We get over $16 an hour in our pension here, that’s $33,280. Teamcare is $500 per punch per week is $26,000.

101,920+19,110+33,280+26,000=$180,310.
Don't forget about your paid time off
