Newsmax CEO says its coverage is not accurate, they have no evidence of election fraud

"Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy has admitted that some of the channel's post-election news coverage has not been accurate, but defended the output as merely providing people's opinions.

Ruddy was being interviewed on Peacock's The Mehdi Hasan Show about how he can justify the misinformation and conspiracy theories that have been aired on the network, which has seen a surge of viewership and praise from Donald Trump.

Hasan accused Newsmax's post-election coverage as like "watching a parallel universe" as it continues to push disputed claims of widespread voter fraud, the debunked theory that Dominion Voting Systems glitch massively favored Joe Biden and the suggestion that Trump could still be president in January.

Hasan also played an "especially ridiculous" clip from Diamond and Silk, who appear on Newsmax despite being cut from Fox News for spreading conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 pandemic."

While Cohen is not a registered lobbyist, he does oversee the cable giant’s massive Washington lobbying operation, which spent more than $4 million and involved more than three dozen lobbying firms in the first quarter of 2019 alone."

Newmax does not have to go to court and present evidence they are a news channel that can promote a discussion of the topic.
there was a time journalist did such a crazy thing as to actually discuss relevant news.
the problem with todays media is they think they now have some power to decide what news they agree with and only promote that topic.
every responsible journalist that does a credible job should discuss the topic and give opposing sides a means to argue their case in the same story without spin.

    In the three-year career of Dewey Warren, the Volunteers won 25 games and lost six; 19 of those wins had the Swamp Rat starting at quarterback.
    In the three seasons prior to Warren taking over, Tennessee had won 13 and lost 16.
    Quite a difference this cagey individual made on the scene in Knoxville.
    Dewey came from the swampland of Savannah to become the first person to pass for over 1,000 yards in Volunteer history.
    Although he may not have a luggage full of impressive statistics, Warren was the man most responsible for turning around a giant football program that was in a deep decline before he arrived.

Newsmax definitely leans right but does repost articles from liberal sources like Associated Press too. More a news source than opinions. Unlike CNN or MSNBC.

I guess it depends on where you get your news from. NPR has a very balanced approach along with the BBC. Network news is too controlled by their advertisers to be objective. Right wing media? Propaganda wing of the trump party.
