I think you have to be 67 in the part-time pension to get everything if I’m not mistaken. No way in hell I’m staying that long

I'm pretty sure it's 65 here and every year before that it's a 6% penalty

There's no excuse for any retiree not to have health care as a matter of fact the people that have retired healthcare should not be paying the premium they are right now

I wholeheartedly agree they put their time in it should be given to them.

Yep I paid for 30 years it’s a shared thing and it’s very well funded program as a matter fact they just announced recently if we were to go on strike they have 36 months of reserves to pay every ones healthcare as long as I don’t cross a picket line while we’re on strike.
If only our pension was ran as well

If it was part of the negotiation yes. I’m not a huge fan of having to work one day a week to get coverage but that was part of the deal.
I would be much happier with one day a month.

Have to shoot for the stars with these guys because the age limits now and penalties are not acceptable job is way too physical to go well into your 60s to get everything.

But some people started 18, 19 or 20 years old

You have to be realistic and look at the real numbers

I really do think they're going to come after the part-time pension for new employees

With all the things Sean is saying he will get for the membership he has to be prepared to trade some things away.
I agree the Company will come after this and I think they will get it
