If you look at it logically…and full disclosure I despise both parties. I look at them as all part of one criminal enterprise and I will never vote in another federal election under this system…but neither “side” is going to accept the results of next years pageant.

The trump people are willing to go to war to get him back in. The people who hate him are willing to go to war to keep him out. The results of the selection will not matter because nobody will accept it

I think you're giving the president too much influence and power. Yes, they have the keys to the nuclear arsenal but they can't create laws (sure they can sign a few executive orders but that's far from passing laws) and can't pass legislation on their own. Most people that don't like Trump (like myself) just can't stand the hypocrisy and ego that he has. That being said, although he was terrible with foreign relations he didn't do a bad job as president (argue that point however you like).
