dude, LP doesn't move on someone with a term unless it is a slam-shut case

and the ghost of Hoffa himself won't save you from that
Our LP guy is the *****, he has been known to hide under trucks in the am and listen to shady preload sups and loaders who he suspects of bad things. He has caught many a scumbags and we all(honest employees)think very highly of him.

We only see a scumbag thieving driver once every couple of years if that. It's been while since a driver went down for theft. Most are preloaders or p/t sups.

nailed it * i don't know what's in the box, don't want to know, and don't care * my only concern is to get that box to the right address ( while working within the proper established guidelines ) and then move on to the next one

LOL. Nice rhetoric, but I'm merely questioning your ethics. I too live in a RTW state, but I joined the union and PAY dues in hopes of negotiating a better future. You #!%@ and moan about the union, but gladly accept the compensation that I PAID to negotiate for you.

Go get a no-benefit job for $7.80/hour working at Disney World, or whatever. Just stop free loading from my money.

Wow, me a democrap? No way, you teamster fellows are the democraps.

I see no point in paying dues for a job they cant fill or train someone to do. I feel no need to take 2.5% out of my paycheck which is grossly smaller then a drivers wage. The union is here for the drivers, in my opinion, if I choose to drive I would join.

Turmoil and such hate for me that I choose to do things " my way " seems a bit unfair. Its a free country, right to work state is a blessing and I feel sorry for those who've lost money in a PT gig that really needed the money for rent, food, car, baby and many other things. But you would rather cry that the union is so friend'in pu**y whipped and weak of giving away your benefits and preks for this job that you've all gone mad with rage and frustration.

I feel welcome here that you lefties come out and " choose " to show me such love.

I really dont have strong intent on driving, just asking a simple question. Yet you'll take such offence and mad hate for someone for not throwing their money away. Most PT here arnt in the union, the ones that do become unbelievable :censored2: bags. I see where it comes from now.

As for the attack on my ethics, wow, you dont know me brah! Come at me brah and I'll show you the correct path. Enlightment is free, granted from the words of the cosmos. You just have to learn how to listen.

The union is a democrat thing anyways. You know what else was democrat? Well for one the KKK was started by democrats. The nazis where a democrat socialist creation. Hell, the democraps birth in America, their first stand was to lobby in government to keep slavery around. I am excited to see you all doing the same as your past, at least you stay on topic, bravo!

I hope you still feel honored to be a democrat, yall!

Some workers at Disney World are unionized. They are covered by the same local that he would be in if he wasn't a scab.

Sigh.

Just goes to show, conservatives are the ones that want something for nothing.

A truly principled person would join the union, not to support the leadership, but to pay for the services they receive from the union. Every time you use your insurance, the bill goes through your local H&W office and you receive a statement that shows what was covered and what was paid.

Way to be a moocher.

There is, its right to work state. Its when you get paid more and get everything else a union worker paying dues get.

I wish I can opt out of the medical to get paid even more.

I STRONGLY disagree with that idea. Section 8, Welfare, Food stamps, abusing unemployment, that all falls under democratic methods.

If I lived in a RTW state, I probably would not be in the union, but then I ALSO wouldn't beg for their help and try to use benefits that are provided to Dues paying Union Members.

Be that as it may, I am NOT in a RTW state and I pay dues, but I don't bitch about it. I pay for services which are provided to me, and if I need their help I ask for it.

Disney has a union and yet they get treated far worse then any of us do. They have a paying system like ours and get rasies. My father in law works there, have been for a long time and he makes 30$ an hour part time.

Funny, sad and a true story. He was working at a food stand, my father in law. The park was closing and they were getting ready to clean up and throw the food away. Well one of them was in college, and always hungry. So he gave him a pretzel, a sup saw him do it and fired him on the spot. They were going to throw them away anyways. He got his job back in a few days.

I really dont think you pay for me. Rather, you pay for your own and I choose to stay the hell out of the conversation and look back in speculation as to why you guys cave so hard each and ever time.

I imagen you all big time union buffs sitting at home on the couch. Wearing your big union floppy hat with the teamsters horse ass logo on it, a union shirt thats fading and a stick flag in one hand with a pointed union flag and a beer in the other. Sitting there chanting " rawr rawr rawr TEAMSTERS! rawr rawr rawr! " every other chance you get.

To sit there and to blame me for not paying dues just because of the past of union affairs, is a lot like you looking at me as a white man. Saying to yourselves that my past had hands in slavery, segregation and the KKK. Meanwhile, I'm only thrid generation to this country. I am one of the first in my family to work for the teamsters. Where I have no idea the past of this union nor care. Yet know some from specials on TV, and say your past is full of pathetic justice. Its almost as if you praise and pay the mob for your bidding. Like TV shows where the people pay a due to keep their shops from being wrecked up.

It makes me sick as the union caves on details on its newer workers. Getting benefits after a year, a very low pay and put into conitions where they can get hurt and have nothing to fall back upon. Yet, it is as I've said before, its all about you guys. It will always be me, me and more me, never anyone else. I feel the only reason you scrap, cry and complain about any of this is because you feel its a measure of yourself rather then others, selfish I'd say.

I make an effort to talk with newer workers and tell them you dont have to pay dues. You arnt making too much already, so why give up the little you make now. Many here dont pay dues, theres no need. I have spoken with a lot of people about this topic, new and old.

superballs63 is right. All those programs are from the democrat side of government. And again we see the left blame the right for what " they " have done. I am sure, in time, the left will blame us righties after Obama care is past and crashes in a fiscal spewing fast track crash to the bottom of the ocean to cripple the country even more then it is already at.

I work hard for my paycheck, I earn it through sweat, blood and tears. Make an effort to make UPS commit on money spent from its customers. In my opinion, the loss from past and current accounts is due to the lack of service and quality only a union can diminish. Time will only tell, our current future looks dim and scary, you better prepare.

I am in a RTW state and I am gladly in the union!

And I am glad you are, it is your choice. I am part time and make little, I wish others would ease up on me that I dont make as much as they do. I would pay dues if I made a better yearly income. As of now, no thank you, maybe in the future I will when I choose its necessary. In the meantime, if I feel that they break contract agreements in any way, I'll file and let the union " work " for the 350$ for the paper work.

Btw, to others talking about 22.3 jobs, they have bid sheets for them. Its just like everything else here, you bid, and get them through seniority.

Just say it. I'm too cheap to pay the dues.

I'll say it, I dont make enough money to pay dues. After 5 years here, I barely make as much as someone on welfare. In fact they make a little more then me and get free benefits. So you guys are asking a lowerclass person to just give away money, nice.
