I thought I would just start this thread now since it's inevitable.

The union doesn't care about your vote. It will be pushed through.

Vote nada. And let's see what happens. We never took a strike vote so it's not last and final

The IBT president is free to interpret the Constitution as he sees fit. If Hoffa says it's the last and final it is.

Serious question. If we vote no and we reach all thresholds. Then what kind of power does national have. Not interested in opinions just the facts

Got another question. I remember you talking about the cap with insurance for retirement. I think can you elaborate so I can inquire if we getting same or better.

With the new contract we have no cap for retirement H&W.

That's awesome I'm actually happy for you and your local. Another question. How much is your pension per full time year. Or for 25 full time or 30. And how much is the part time pension.

We don't have a set amount for 25 or 30 years. We have PEER 80. PT at the end of the contract will get $11.11 an hour up to 2080 contributed into their pension and FT will be $13.31 an hour

I seem to recall a few people on here say beards aren't a contact issue, I think this shows otherwise

    They're not.

    No it doesn't.

The Union fighting for better clothing to protect against the elements is a contractual issue.

    Beards are not.

Because wearing a hoodie is the only way to keep warm.

Everything is a contractual issue if we want it to be.

This is nothing new, we’ve been allowed to wear hoodies at 710 for a couple years now, so dumb to list that as a victory.
