Just wondering what did other package handlers make on their retro check im trying to compare. Somehow I made $602 and with taxes only made $466. How in the hell is that possible? I guess all that overtime during peak season didn’t help :(
Mine is $1500 after taxes.

How? I’m jealous!! I have to ask

I think it has to do with how much you were making before the increase. I was $10.35/hr (then it changed to $10.60/hr early January). So my retro mostly was calculated at $2.65/hr to reflect a $13/hr pay rate. However I was paid under 7 different pay rates ranging from $2.40-$6.60. My retro gross was a little over $2k, but after taxes it’s $1,440.

Dude I was getting paid $12.50 at the time and you made more than me somehow.

That’s the issue. You got retro of .50 cents per hour and mine was 2.65/hr. Technically we both made the same rate since August 1st. I understand it doesn’t sound fair, but it’s what they agreed to in the contract.

This is my exact situation also. I was at $10.60 but also had 7 different pay rate brackets on my paystub.

I’m not doubting you my dude but it wouldn’t make any sense since my current pay rate is $15.00. Which is a $2.50 increase. I mean maybe your right somehow I’m just questioning how they gave me $466 for 6 months. Everyone else in my outbound made at least a $1,000.

Even at .50 an hour wouldn’t even come close to $466

Did you ever call in sick, use option days, take vacation? Make sure those hours get paid too!
Yes I had my option week, and my vacation during the time with out a contract, I'm pretty sure I was compensated correctly. Just under 700 hours is what I had calculated.
