You're clown shoes personified. Lay off the Alex Jones talk up in this bitzzzz, or please do not make anymore posts in this thread. People were already laughing at you.

I have my opinions on why 9/11 occurred but I keep them to myself or between people whom I know won't be offended by my thoughts.

Don't bring that Loose Change :censored2: in here. PLEASE. We've all seen Fahrenheit 9/11 and the like, and we all know US isn't saintly.

And 9/11 is not a political event, it's a tragedy. The 2020 elections are a political event. (The 2016 election was a little bit of both. Sorry, couldn't help myself.)

Just so you know, ricky is a Canadian wannabe socialist who still lives in his parents' basement. Not the most reliable source.

how about turning off the tv first of all. you are all mesmerized.
Yep, @rickyb you've definitely got me pegged good. I'm mesmerized by television and it's my only source of information and entertainment...

And another:

And here's a pile of recently read or referenced books I've just got out on small shelf:

20190529_163349.jpg

If that doesn't sufficiently prove my point that you're totally off base about myself, and most of us I see you trying to argue with, which is that you're one of the least informed people here. Then I can always go up to the library/office and snap a few pics of the other four full 7' x 4' bookshelves consisting of 99% non-fiction books about current events, history, and people/things of interest. There's people here on this board that I disagree with politically, but I don't question that most of them are intelligent and informed posters.

However, I'm a 1000% sure that I'm am correct in my assumption that YOU are nowhere near as well informed/read as most of these people who you argue politics and world affairs with. Feel free to prove me wrong...

If you can snap a pic of even 20 books that aren't from the Marvel Universe and post them up here, then I will gladly admit I was totally wrong about you, and perhaps even give your future opinions the respect of replying to them as if you/they are intelligent and have informed thoughts worthy of debate. Until then, you don't understand 99% of what you speak of, and the other 1% is a woefully simplified version of the actual facts, in my eyes.

We're all mesmerized by television?...what a joke. Annoyed by idiocy is what most/all of us are, and you fit that bill to a tee - especially in this particular thread.

P.S. - I drank YOUR milkshake in this thread, to quote one of your profound threads, and a phrase you got from "There Will Be Blood", which is kind of odd since you're not much of a tv man. But I digress.

SMD. I'm out.

I was almost at the yard with a trailer from the bay area when heard on the radio that a "light" air craft had flown into the WTC. The announcer thought it strange that a small plane would crash like that.

It wasn't until i was back in the yard fueling that people realized it may be more than that.By the time i got home it was all over the TV and we saw the other plane hit . Had to go to bed to sleep during the day so I could work that night.

When got up found out about the 2 other planes. My sister was supposed to be on the plane that left Logan airport in Boston but she missed the flight. All I can remember mostly is about being angry. Very angry and that I wanted Bush to do something about it.

The whole country was angry and wanted action. Remember many veterans calling their branches to see if they could get into the fight. It was really incredible how the whole nation seemed ready for a fight.

I didn’t particularly care for it, as I'm not much of a fiction man, myself.

But since I read this one at an earlier date:

I figured I'd check out the other side of the argument and see what their perspective was.

See, unlike many of the ConTrolls and TrumpTards, I try to get the information from both sides and make my own decisions on where the truth lies.

But that's just because I don't like to be hanging in the barnyard with the sheep and I try not to be too hypocritical in my political leanings.

The top title is up for grabs if anyone wants it. I don't even want that drivel in my library. I'm almost ashamed that I read it and definitely not proud to display it on my shelf.

Not a very good reader, huh? Perhaps even blind or illiterate it seems, because you should check out the title to the top one. Your 3 favorite boogeymen are on the cover with defeated looks on their faces...

It's definitely not a liberal book. It's a hardcore TrumpTard bible. The last word of the title that is covered by the sticker is 'hoax'. The subtitle is 'the illicit scheme to clear Hillary Clinton and frame Donald Trump".

I thought it was a comedy book when I saw it, but it turns out the author was dead serious.

I now file it under fiction, next to the Dan Brown, John Grisham, and Steven King novels in my collection.

Have we already forgotten all of the "liberal" books that were published over the last 2 years that made unproven claims about Trump being a Russian agent? How can we point fingers and laugh at the book the TTs were buying when we were whacking off to Trump/Russia spy fantasies the whole time?

I haven't forgotten any of them. I own and read most of them.

The facts are that Trump wasn't exonerated by Mueller's investigation, and there's a whole slew of other investigations currently in progress which will pin him down on at least one of the illegal financial crimes he's been committing since birth (literally since he was born) and has been using to enrich himself at the expense of others, including the government he now heads, in lieu of false or misleading tax returns, and felonious loan applications.

its more important to read from people who actually know something than "both sides".

most people dont read books (im reading farhenheit 451 right now its hilarious), and our society is awash in garbage, and excess of disinfo.

do you think that 95% or more of everything is either a lie or wrong? i do.

and btw: all your reading has translated into what action on your part? to know and not to do, is not to know.

please just send joe biden and the rest of the US govt to figure out how cuba has a higher life expectancy than america.
Easy. Socialized medicine ala free healthcare for all.

People actually go to the doctor on a regular basis, and said doctors have no reason to provide less than optimal care or advice to the patient, because there's no chance that they won't be paid or the treatment will be denied by unscrupulous insurance companies, as all needed treatment and medicine is free of charge and included in their rights as a citizen of Cuba. Kind of like everywhere else in the world.

In our country people avoid going to the doctor until it's too late in many instances or they die while fighting with insurance companies for their needed treatment.
