Have decided to not pursue. Like that idea of waiting later on to do the temp way. I remember seeing those ads all the time.

Where I live, the temp rate for Ground is right in the middle of the $10-$12 per hour range. That means that the temp agency is probably charging FedEx $15-$17 per hour for these workers, given their cut. What does that tell you about how Ground/HD drivers are paid? If you do choose the temp path, peak will allow you to see everything at it's most screwed-up level, you'll be driving a rental truck, and mass confusion will reign supreme.
