please canada is full of immigrants which is good for them if they came from the 3rd world, but not so good for labor out here, but anyways i say they should be able to come and escape the hell of the 3rd world. america can keep its military industrial complex, healthcare complex and the 45,000 death each year that come with it, highest tuition, etc etc etc.

america was 1 of the best countries back in the 1970s but things have radically changed for the worse partly because of the 2 red scares america had, and its unusually violent labor history.

the best country in the world is one of the northern european countries like denmark. i like france and italy for hte weather too which they dont factor into those studies.

i dont recommend 60 minutes its mostly propaganda.

That capitalist has to profit 35k-40K to support your $14 hour job. And you are only working 9 to 5. That capitalist is probably working 24/7, they don't punch out at five.

corporations have had record profits since hte 1990s but possibly before that as well. 40 years of flat or declining real wages + record productivity = record corporate profits. and yes small business in america is at a low right now i cant find the article but i just saw it.

Do you have any specific examples? Or just general propaganda? We now have free money. Yes corporations make billions on that. We are on hyper trickle down. Funny thing, now our dollar is getting stronger.

that quote is from noam chomsky and refers to the american business press of the 1990s describing words of "dazzling", and "stupendous" to describe the record corporate profits. and yes it looks like QE has created stock bubble 2.0. and I'm sure chomsky is not the only one to have said this but not 100% sure if give u other names.

all you gotta do is search "record corporate profits". but what i usually do is get links to articles from experts on twitter.

i mean think about it: the real wage has been flat or declining in america for 40 years, productivity is at record highs because of automation and market pressures on workers : whats the gap? its corporate profits.

Did you live in America in the 1970's? It sounds like you have been reading too much socialist propaganda.

because living in a country automatically means you know whats going on and not a sheep.

which is why less than 50% of the american population voted for 2 fully corporate owned candidates last presidential election...

I was thinking you could pick one company/corporation and we could actually discuss their balance sheet. Analyze their income, expenses, profit margins, one time charges, etc.

You remind me a lot of a guy I knew in college who thought he could attempt to fit an entire pack of hot dogs in his mouth and didn't think he would get made fun of.

i wouldnt expect nothing less on here. ridicule and low end humor saturates the forum..got a bunch of digital tough guys.

Just a trivia aside.....Ray Barone's brother, Robert named his bulldog Chompsky, but I think it was after a ball player.
